Pursuant to the Meta Platform Terms, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Article 17), and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Postlyn provides users with full autonomy to delete their social profile linkages and request permanent scrubbing of all associated data.

1How to Remove Postlyn via Facebook / Meta Settings

If you authenticated your Instagram Business or Facebook Page accounts via Facebook Login, you can revoke access directly through Meta:

  1. Log in to your Facebook account associated with your Instagram / Facebook Page.
  2. Go to Settings & Privacy and click Settings.
  3. In the left-hand navigation menu, scroll down to Permissions and select Apps and Websites.
  4. Locate Postlyn in the list of active connected apps.
  5. Click Remove next to Postlyn.
  6. (Optional) In the confirmation pop-up, you may check the box to allow Facebook to delete all posts, videos, or events that Postlyn published on your behalf.
  7. Click Remove again to confirm. Meta will notify Postlyn's webhook to revoke all active tokens immediately.

2How to Disconnect Channels Inside Postlyn

You can disconnect connected social channels at any time with immediate effect:

  1. Log in to your Postlyn account at postlyn.in.
  2. Navigate to Workspace Settings → Connected Accounts.
  3. Find the target Instagram or social channel and click Disconnect Account.
  4. Confirm the disconnection. Our backend instantly destroys the stored AES-256-GCM encrypted OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and channel metadata from our database.

3Full Account & Workspace Erasure Request

To request a complete, permanent erasure of your entire Postlyn user account, workspaces, uploaded media files, AI generations, and historical scheduled queues:

Send an email with the subject “Data Deletion Request - [Your Workspace Name]” to our Privacy Desk using the contact details below.

Include your registered email address and confirmation of whether you wish to scrub specific social accounts or your entire workspace.

We will verify account ownership and execute an irrevocable cascade delete across all database tables and cloud storage buckets within 30 calendar days.
